KATHRINE TILITSKY

Mrs.I Katherine Tilitzky of Swift Current passed away on September 2. She was born on December 15, 1915 in Russia and im- migrated to Canada in 1923 with her parents . Th ey settled in the Turnhill area near Herbert, Sask . She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour when C.N. Hiebert held ser- vices in the Turnhill Church, and she was baptized at age 14. She enjoyed teachingn Sunday school. She mar- ried John Tilitzky in 1964. They lived in Her- bert till 1968 when they moved to Swift Current. She became an active member of the Bridgeway Community Church there. She is survived by her husband John ; two sisters : Mary (Mrs. P.l Klassen of Steinbach, Man. and Anne (Mrs. D.l Funk of Abbotsford, B.C.; and one broth- er, Herman Heinrichs of Niverville, Man. The funeral was held September 5 in the Bridge- way church with pastors Peter Nikkel and Neil Block, and Ernest Regier officiating.
