PERCY EASLER

Percy Alexander Easler of Aldergrove, B.C. passed away on July 11. He was born to Alexander and Sarah Margaret Easler on April 11, 1912 in Vancouver. As a young boy he accepted the Lord as his Saviour. He began working for the Vancouver Police Force in 1936 and worked there until 1972, when he retired to Aldergrove. He was introduced to the South Otter Mennonite Brethren congregation through a spring 1976 "Here's Life" campaign, and had made himself appreciated at the church since. He played several instruments and had an attractive way of giving Bible lessons with the help of illustrations. "His cheerful face, warm greetings and willing service will be missed by all who knew him," writes the South Otter reporter.
