ALBERT THIELMANN

Albert Thielmann died Oct. 21, 2007. He was born Sept. 12, 1930 to Herman and Olga Thielmann in Kudaschewka, Ukraine. When Albert was 7, the NKVD took his father. During WWII his family experienced God's provision daily as they fled west. Albert was baptized in Germany prior to 1948 when they finally immigrated to Canada and settled in Coaldale, Alta. He moved to Vancouver and married Mary Hildebrandt. They helped found Willing don MB Church. Albert owned and operated a construction and development company. In 1978 the family moved to Mt. Lehman where they planted a hazelnut orchard and joined Central Heights Church. Albert's gift of hospitality, humour, and generosity brought many opportunities to share the goodness of God. Albert felt privileged to serve on the board of Logos Canada and support missionaries in the former Soviet Union. He is mourned by Mary; children Marv (Heather), Bruno (Sharon), AI (Debbie), Marianne (Bruce) Konrad, Evelyn (Steve) Klassen; 22 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 3 brothers. The memorial service was Nov. 3 at Central Heights Church, Abbotsford, B.C
