LYDIA SAWATZKY

Lydia Sawatzky died suddenly Jan. 5, 2008 at age 41. She was born Sept. 18, 1966 to Dietrich and Helena Schroeder in Lomaplata, Paraguay. She married Alfred Sawatzky Aug. 31, 1985. Lydia was a selfless, loving mother and wife devoted to her family. She loved movie nights and games with the family. She always cared for others, and later in life decided to become a nurse. She excelled in her studies and was thrilled with her new job at Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg. She is mourned by Alfred; children Mark (Chelsea), Cynthia (Joel); parents Dietrich and Helena; 3 siblings. The funeral service was Jan. 10 at North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg.
