SARA HIEBERT

Sara Hiebert died Jan. 1, 2008 at exactly 100 years old. She was born Jan. 1, 1908 to John and Marie Wiebe in Kuruschan, Russia . After she was miraculously healed at 13, she accepted Christ and was baptized at 15. Sara's family immigrated to Ontario in 1924. She met Henry Hiebert at Leamington MB Church, and they married March 13, 1938. Henry died at age 58 after a brief illness and Sara lived for a time with her daughter in Virgil, Ont. She also lived at Pleasant Manor and then Vineland U.M. Predeceased by Henry; son Albert, Sara is mourned by her children Margaret, Siegfried, Otto, and Marianne; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings. The memorial service was Jan. 4 at Cornerstone Community Church, Virgil, Ont.
