Helen Schroeder died Oct. 15, 2007. She was born Nov. 13, 1926 in Damascus, Ohio to Ralph and Nellie Steer. She married George Schroeder and they served as missionaries at IIorin Bible College in Nigeria for 30 years. Her ministries were coordinating a regional Christian film library and teaching English, music, and choirs where she excelled at accompaniment. She is mourned by George; siblings Dorothy (Kenneth) Cobbs and Don (Sandy). The funeral was Oct. 20 at Steinbach (Man.) MB Church.
