FRANK (FRANZ) KESSLER

Frank (Franz) Kessler died July 27. He was born Feb. 14,1927 near Hague, Sask. to Herman and Katherine Kessler. He began school at age 10, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked on farms, canneries, and construction, eventually buying his first car, a Model T Ford. Frank gave his life to the Lord after praying in a hayloft, and soon after married Edna Letkeman in 1952. He worked as a bricklayer based in Martensville, Sask., and later for MCC. Frank was a foster parent to many, and left a legacy of faith wherever he went. He enjoyed fishing, playing games, and going for coffee with friends. Frank was a member of Warman MB Church for many years. Predeceased by sons Warren and Nollan, he is mourned by Edna; children Ken, Winnifred (Don) Reddekopp, Eunice (Greg) Amy, Darcy, Jason; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings. The memorial service was Aug. 1 at West Portal MB Church, Saskatoon.
