MARY DUTKA

(Mrs.) Mary Dutka of Moose Jaw and Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away on May 22 in the Lethbridge Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1908 at Halbstadt, Manitoba and came to Saskatchewan in 1912 with her parents. She accepted the Lord in 1951.and was later baptized. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Moose Jaw, Sask. for several years. In 1978 she came to the Regal Heights Mennonite Brethren Church in Moose Jaw and joined them in October, 1978. She worked in senior citizens' homes and in home care for many years. She is survived by one son, Rudolf Nordin, and his wife Lorraine of Lethbridge, Alberta; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Tony Penner of Lumsden, Sask.; and three sisters: Elizabeth Gannon of Gouldtown, Sask., Helen Wiens of Richmond, B.C., and Martha Friesen of Calgary. She was predeceased by her first husband, Percy Nordin in 1946, by her second husband, Peter Dutka in 1968, by three' brothers and two sisters. The funeral was held May 26 in Herbert Mennonite Brethren Church, with pastor Leo Siemens from Regal Heights officiating
