WILMA MARTENS

Wilma (nee Engel) died Jan. 12 at age 93. She was born May 31, 1913 . Wilma mar- area . Elsie was active ried Otto Martens Apr. throughout life. She loved to cook and garden, 9, 1944. In 1945, they and was a determined person. She farmed with bought a farm. They her husband near Manitou, Man. for 61 years. lived there until 1980 Elsie had a strong faith in God, and church was when they relocated important to her. She was involved in Manitou to Herbert, Sask . In fall 2003, they moved into MB as a Sunday school teacher, deaconess, Heritage Manor. Wilma spent time at the Manor and friend. She also enjoyed the church family and then at the nursing home before she died. she found later in life at Winkler MB Church. Predeceased by Otto; daughter Marnie Unger; Elsie had a sharp memory and family was very 2 brothers; 1 sister; she is mourned by her son important to her. Predeceased by 4 brothers; Brian (Sharon); son-in-law Harry Unger; 6 grand· 6 sisters; and followed in death by her hus- children; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother.
