SUSAN FRIESEN

Susan Friesen died peacefully Feb. 16 after a long struggle. She was born Apr. 30, 1928 in Hochfeldt, Sask. to William and Maria Wall. She became a Christian as a young girl and was baptized upon confession of her faith in Hague, Sask. She married Peter J. Friesen Aug. 16, 1953. They began their life together in Saskatoon where their first 3 children were born. In 1962, they moved to Dalmeny where 2 more children were added. In 1991, the couple moved to Saskatoon due to Susan's fragile health. Nahum 1:7 helped her through many physical needs: The Lord is good, a refuge in time of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." Predeceased by 2 brothers; 1 sister; she is mourned by Peter; children Delmer (Clare), Ran (Nancy), Cindy (Don) Kornelson, Sharon (Garth) Loeppky, Nelda (Ian) Mercer; 9 grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters. The celebration of life service was Feb. 20 at West Portal MB Church, Saskatoon.
