Rider of Bicycle Fatally Injured

Ephrata, Pa. — An accident on Route 322 at Hinkletown the morning of April 28 claimed the life of Harvey H. Nolt, 55, of rural Ephrata.

Mr. Nolt was riding a bicycle to work at Good's Lumber Company when he made a left turn into the path of an automobile traveling the same direction. He was thrown to the highway and suffered head injuries, resulting in his death the same afternoon at a Lancaster hospital.

Funeral services were held May 1 at the Martindale Mennonite Church.

Surviving in the immediate family are his widow, Maggie; four children, Mrs. John Z. Martin of rural Ephrata, Walter, Luke and Cora, all at home; and his father, Elam B. Nolt of rural Kutztown.
