• Word was received here that Mrs. Waldo Kliewer, 71, of Gates Mills, Ohio died April 26 in a Cleveland hospital. The former Mary Schmidt of Pawnee Rock, Kan., she was a sister of Mrs. August Schmidt of Newton. Mrs. Kliewer was a member of the Congregational Christian Church of Willoughby Hills, O. and formerly was president of the state women's organization of that denomination. She also was a member of the Cleveland Council of World Affairs. She had continued her membership in the Bergthal Mennonite Church at Pawnee Rock, where the final services and burial are to take place Thursday afternoon with Rev. Gerhard Peters officiating.
