• Mr. and Mrs. John B. Goering and Mr. and Mrs. Menno Schrag, Newton, received word early this week that their brother-in-law, James Heathershaw, 67, had died at Seattle, Wash. last Saturday, April 26, after a series of heart attacks. Mr. Heathershaw formerly was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie, where funeral services and burial are scheduled for Thursday afternoon. He and his wife, Lillian (Schrag) Heathershaw, were missionaries in Nigeria, Africa during the 1940s, but had resided in Seattle the past number of years. Memorial services were held Tuesday in the Seattle Missionary Alliance Church, where he and his family presently were members, after which the body was brought to Kansas for services at Pretty Prairie. Mr. Heathershaw was born Oct. 23, 1907 at Basin, Wyo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lew Heathershaw. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Janice, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
