• Dr. Lloyd S. Cressman, 75, retired minister and educator of Schowalter Villa at Hesston, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. a native of Ontario, he at one time was pastor of Mennonite Brethren in Christ churches in Toronto and Chicago, and also served as pastor of several Society of friends congregations. In 1949 he became head of the Biblical studies department at Friends University, and served as president of the school from 1952 to 1956. After that he was associate pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church in Wichita, and from 1961 to 1971 was head of the Biblical studies department at William Penn College, Oskaloosa, Iowa. His widow, a resident of the Villa, survives. Funeral services and private burial took place Wednesday morning in Wichita, followed by a memorial service in the afternoon at University Friends Church.
