• Funeral services for Benjamin N. Gamber, 80, of Hesston were conducted Friday afternoon, Jan. 24 at the Hesston Mennonite Church with Rev. Richard Yordy, the pastor, in charge. Mr. Gamber died Jan. 21 at Axtell Christian Hospital in Newton. A native of Landisville, Pa., he married Martha Kliewer at Burrton, Kan. in 1924. For 40 years they lived at Scottdale, Pa. where he was employed as a printer by the Mennonite Publishing House. The couple moved to Schowalter Villa at Hesston in 1964. Survivors include Mrs. Gamber; a son, Henry, a missionary in Ethiopia; two daughters, Ester of La Junta, Colo. and Ruth, a missionary in Haiti; one sister, Mrs. Selena Shank of Hesston; and eight grandchildren.
