• Word has been received here that Robert M. Schroeder, 49, operator of a retail fertilizer business at Inman, died Monday morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, Colo. after suffering a heart attack. He had gone to Denver to visit his son, Jim. He was a member of the Hebron Mennonite Church, Buhler, where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m Thursday. Surviving in addition to the son at Denver are his wife, the former Mathilda Schmidt of Goessel; three other sons, Ken of McPherson and Rodney and Bradley of the home at Inman; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Tolle of McPherson and Connie Jo of the home; his mother, Mrs. Henry Schroeder of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Jake Schmidt of Goessel; a half-sister, Mrs. Robert Gordon of Newton; and four grandchildren.
