JAKE SIEBERT

Jake Siebert died Aug. 2. He was born Dec. 20, 1938 to Peter and Susanna Siebert in Coaldale, Alta. He accepted the Lord as his Saviour as a teenager and was baptized in 1958. He attended Winkler (Man.) Bible School. He loved music, sang in choirs, music groups and conducted a church choir. He married Elsie Poettcker July 25, 1964. They farmed in Dawson Creek, B.C He loved the outdoors and sitting on the combine. In 1979 they moved to Abbotsford. He had his own trucking company. Predeceased by 1 sister, 2 brothers, he is mourned by Elsie, sons Les and Mel; daughter Wendy Larsen; 6 sisters; 2 brothers. The funeral was Aug. 5 in Central Heights Church with Korky Neufeld and Len Chmelyk ministering.
