Accident Injuries Fatal to Boy

Nine Points, Pa. — Funeral services were held here Nov. 11 for 10-year-old Elmer Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Fisher, who was severely injured in a farm accident and died in the hospital eight days later.

The boy and his sister Annie, 12, were riding on the side step-board of a steel bin wagon filled with potatoes when the wagon tipped over, pinning them underneath. The boy was caught around the neck, cutting off oxygen to the brain. He remained in a coma until his death. His sister was hospitalized for a few days but recovered.
