• Mrs. Jacob S. Goertzen, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel in charge. Mrs. Goertzen, the former Pauline Unruh, was a native of Marion County. She and her husband farmed near Goessel until 1955, when they moved to Hesston. In 1969 they moved to Goessel. Surviving are her husband, of the home; one son, Ernest of Berkeley, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Banman of Lehigh; two brothers, Jacob E. Unruh and Otto Unruh, both of Route 2, Newton; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Reimer of Eugene, Ore., Mrs. Ben Janzen of Goessel, Mrs. Nick Schmidt of Route 2, Newton, and Mrs. Marvin Epp of Ferndale, Wash; and five grandchildren.
