Separate Accidents Claim Lives of Two Ohio Boys

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Two boys were killed on succeeding days in accidents in this east central Ohio vicinity.

Two-year-old Kevin Dale Troyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark A. Troyer, was instantly killed the evening of April 26 when he was run over by a tractor lawn mower operated by his uncle. The accident took place at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melva Shetler.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 28, at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, on Apple Creek Road. On Saturday afternoon, April 27, Garth Lamar Weaver, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Weaver of rural Millersburg, was fatally injured in a bicycle-truck accident. the boy was riding his bicycle near his home when a rearview mirror on a passing truck flipped the cycle. He died in Akron Children's Hospital the same evening.

Funeral services were held May 1 at the Martins Creek Mennonite Church.
