• Funeral services for Rhonda June Plett, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Plett of Hesston, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Koerner Heights Mennonite Brethren Church, Rev. Larry Martens, the pastor, and Dr. Vernon Vogt officiated. Rhonda died on April 4 at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. after becoming ill with leukemia for several years. Survivors in addition to the parents are two sisters, Vicki and Lisa of the home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Plett of Buhler and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Tschetter of Carpenter, S. D. Phil Plett teaches music in the Hesston schools.
