JACOB DYCK

Jacob Dyck died Aug. 16, 2004. He was born Nov. 10, 1923 in Hague, Sask. He accepted Christ as his Saviour at 13 and was baptized at 16. In 1941 the family moved to Sardis, B.C. He married Tina Schellenberg Oct. 4, 1945 in Yarrow, B.C. He worked at Bowman's Sawmill for 36 years. He was faithful to God and the church, and devoted to his family and friends. Predeceased by Tina in 1993, he is mourned by sons Ron, Ed, Ken, Gerald; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 3 sisters. The funeral was Aug. 20, 2004 at Central Heights MB Church, Abbotsford, with Ed Dyck and Lyndon Plett ministering.
