HELENA N. DYCK

Helena N. Dyck died May 14 at age 85. She was born to Isaac J. and Anna Toews in Kamenka, Orenburg, Russia. The family immigrated to Canada in 1926. She married Jacob J. Dyck Dec. 6, 1945. They were missionaries in India and Nepal with Worldwide Evangelization Crusade, returning to Canada in January 1966. She was a pastor's wife, counsellor and confidante, and an encouragement to her husband. She loved to sing. She is mourned by Jacob; daughters Sharon Fry of Ottawa, Adeline Fast of Luxembourg; son Paul of Abbotsford; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons. The funeral was in Central Heights Church, Abbotsford, with Christopher Douglas ministering.
