• Mrs. Susie Buller, 78, a resident of the Newton area for more than 50 years, died Jan. 16 at the Halstead Nursing Center. A native of McPherson County, she was the former Susie Pankratz. Her marriage to Henry P. Buller occurred in 1919 near Canton. He died in 1970. Survivors include three sons, Larry W. of Newton, Erby P. of Hesston, and Orland H. of Manhattan; two daughters, Mrs. James Schuessler and Mrs. Lewis Hamilton, both of Wichita; two sisters, Lydia Pankratz of Goessel and Mrs. Rudolph Duerksen of Canton; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Buller was a member of the Fellowship Chapel in Newton. The funeral was conducted Saturday morning in Draper-Cannon Chapel with Rev. Marlo Graber, pastor of the Fellowship Chapel, in charge.
