Amish Woman Killed When Hit by Car

Bowling Green, Mo. — A largely attended funeral was held in the Amish settlement here as services were held for Mrs. Rose Wagler, 54, who was instantly killed in a traffic accident in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Wagler and husband, Ezra, had gone to Mt. Pleasant Mills, Pa. to visit their son Jacob Wagler and family. As they were preparing to board a bus for Lancaster County before daylight, Mrs. Wagler started across the highway and was hit by a car.

Attending the funeral were her six children, all but one of the 18 grandchildren, and her aged mother from Daviess County, Indiana.
