• John G. Unruh, 84, of North Newton died Sunday at the Peabody Memorial Nursing Home after a long illness. A native of McPherson County, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethel College Church, where the funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. John Esau and Rev. Esko Loewen in charge. Surviving are his widow, the former Sara L. Penner; three sons, Orlando of El Paso, Texas, Wilbur V. of Shawnee Mission, and Jean R. of Norwalk, Calif.; two brothers, David G. of Inman and Otto D. of North Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Wall and Mrs. Leonard Siemens of Buhler; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
