MARGARET HITCHCOCK

Margaret Hitchcock died Jan. 19. She was born Sept. 11, 1926 in Saskatchewan to David and Agnes Penner. She married David Redekop. In 1982, she married Robert Hitch- cock. The grandchildren appreciated their grandma's zest for life, her humour and her brown cookies. She had a strong faith in the Lord. She organized meals for the church and for the youth at Camp Crossroads. She re- tired to Tabor Manor, St. Catharines, enjoy- ing an active social life and organizing lunch- es with other widows. Her ready wit and irre- press ible spirit livened family gatherings. At- tention to detail, the ability to laugh at one- self, a sound inner strength and a penchant for shopping are part of her legacy. Pred e- ceased by twins in infancy and Robert, she is mourned by children Clifford, Shirley Per - rault, Gordon, Wanda Mcinnis, Brenda Bu lli- vant; 9 grandchildren; stepdaughter Wendy Mand and 2 step-grandchildren. The funeral was Jan . 22 in Fairview MB Church, st. Catha rines, with Waldo Pauls ministering .
