GEORGE HENRY KROEKER

George Henry Kroeker died Nov. 10. He was born in Russia Nov. 17 1921 to Henry and Margret Kroeker. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924, set- tling first in Hamburg, Ont ., then Arnaud, Man. and finally in Alexande r, Man . He farmed and also worked on construction an d at a garage in Winnipeg . During World War II he remained at home, car ing for his parents and farming, while his brothers were in the service. He enjoyed farming and farm ani- mals, travelling and family gatheri ngs . In Se pt. 2003 he was admitted to hos pital, then transferred to Central Park Lodge, Brandon. Here he committed his life to the Lord and found peace and assurance of salvation Mar. 30. The funeral was Nov. 16 in Brockie Dono- van Funeral Chapel, Brandon with Gerry Harms ministering.
