ELIZABETH BRAUER

Elizabeth Brauer died Nov. 23. She was born June 16, 1921 in Franzthal, Russia to Abram and Katherina Brauer. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924, settling in Coaldale, Alta. She was baptized and joined Coaldale MB Church. She was a teacher in southern Alberta. After World War II she served with MCC in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. In France she taught Canadian Air Force children. She taught English to the Inuit in northern Canada. She retired to the West Coast of B.C. She is mourned by sisters Frieda Isaak, Coaldale and Katherine Haines, Seattle, Wash.
