WALTER REGEHR

Walt Regehr died Sept. 28 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born Apr. 16, 1943 in Yarrow, B.C. He was kind and compassion- ate and strove for in- tegrity and honesty in all he did. He loved to be with people, engag- ing in conversation with those he met. He was a doctor in Ed- monton. He enjoyed cross-country skiing, walking his dog, riding his bike, baking bread, reading novels, e-mailing his friends and spending time with his fami ly. His lifelong faith, love of Scripture and Christian commu- nity, particularly in Lendrum MB Church, gave him strength. He is mourned by his wife Mar- lene; son Cameron; daughter Leanne; 2 sis- ters; 1 brother.
