EVANGELIST DIES

Harrisonburg, Va. — Evangelist Silas Brydge, 60, of Lyndhurst, died at the Charlottesville hospital on Sept. 26 after a one-month illness.

A former pastor of two Lyndhurst area churches — Mt. View and Lynside — he had served widely as an evangelist in the Eastern United States.

Funeral services were held at Lynside Church on Sept. 29, with Kenneth Good and Truman Brunk officiating.
