JOHN RATZLAFF

John Ratzlaff died Oct. 15. He was born July 8, 1928 in Gnadenheim, South Russia to John and Elizabeth Ratzlaff. They immigrated to the Brandon, Man. area, moving to Yarrow, B.C. in 1936. He accepted the Lord at 19. He was baptized in 1947, joining Yarrow MB Church. He attended the University of B.C. He married Selma Fast June 18, 1950. He taught in Whitehorse, Yk, Salmon Arm, B.C., Chilliwack, B.C. and Sardis, B.C. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, golfing and woodworking. He is mourned by Selma, daughters Judy Becker, Abbotsford and Shirley Drisdelle, Williams Lake, B.C.; 4 brothers; 2 sisters. The funeral was Oct. 26 in Bakerview MB Church, Abbotsford, with Ray Harris and Garry Schmidt ministering.
