HOLDINA VOTH

Holdina Ruth Voth died Oct. 24. She was born June 16, 1924 in Neu Samara, Russia. The family immigrated to Canada in 1925, set- tling in Springstein, Man. She stayed home, helping her parents raise their children. She accepted the Lord and was baptized, joining Springstein MB Church. She attended Winkler (Man.) Bible School, then worked there as matron, housekeeper, cook, counsellor and friend. The family moved to Ontario. She cared for her parents. She taught Sunday school at Niagara Fellow- ship Chapel, Niagara-on-the-Lake . In 1998 she moved to an apartment at Tabor Manor, St. Catharines. She enjoyed making new friends. She sent cards and letters to many friends. Predeceased by brother Alvin, she is mourned by brothers Walter and Toby, Win- nipeg; John, Ontario; sisters Herta Voth, Su- sanna Wiebe, Manitoba; Erna Falk, Edith Wichert, Kae Froese, Ontario. The funeral was Oct. 27 in Cornerstone Community Church, Virgil, Ont., with George Wichert ministering.
