ANNIE REMPEL

Annie RempeJ died Oct. 30. She was born Jan. 18, 1922 to Peter and Sara Martens in Landskrone, Russia. The family immigrated in 1926 to Sterling, Alta., then moving to Namaka, Alta., and to Ontario in 1938. She was baptized, joining Virgil (Ont.) MB Church. She worked for Lightning Fastener in St. Catharines. She married Ernst Rempel Feb. 15, 1975. Predeceased by 1 brother, she is mourned by Ernst, brothers Erwin and Rudy; sister Loretta. The funeral was Nov. 2 in Cornerstone Community Church, Virgil, with George Wichert ministering.
