Killed When Bicycle Is Hit by Auto

Kalona, Iowa. — A largely attended funeral was held at the Sunnyside Conservative Church here Aug. 5 as services were held for Daniel Lynn Yoder, 10, victim of a bicycle-car accident on Aug. 2.

The boy was riding his bicycle on Highway 22 west of Kalona when it was hit by a car. He died of head and chest injuries while being taken to the hospital.

Survivors include the parents, David L. and Verna Yoder; three sisters and two brothers, as well as two foster sisters, all of the home.
