JOHN P. REIMER

John P. Reimer died Aug. 16. He was born Aug. 14, 1919 to Peter and Maria Reimer in Blumenort, Siberia. The family immigrated to Boissevain, Man in 1926. In 1937 the fam- ily moved to B.C. John accepted the Lord as Saviour in 1934 and was baptized in 1938, joining South Abbots- ford MB Church. He worked as a conscien- tious objector in WW II until 1943. He married Katie Froese in 1944. They farmed in Abbots- ford. He loved working with the tractor and making hay. He also loved being with people, remembering their names. In 1973 Katie died. In 1974 he married Minnie Kornelsen. He loved the Lord and his family, praying that all would accept the Lord. Predeceased by Katie, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, he is mourned by Minnie; children Esther Suderman, Irene Loewen, Naomi Crapo, Ed, Dan and Ruth Felske; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters. The funeral was Aug. 20 at South Abbotsford MB Church.
