text of obituary:

C. J. HUEBERT

C. J. Huebert was born on Dec. 6, 1888 at Henderson, Neb. to John and Sarah (Buller) Huebert. He had been in failing health in recent months and went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 1972, having reached his 83rd year of life.

He married Tina Kornelson on Nov. 14, 1912, and they shared the joys and trials of life for 59 years. To this union three daughters were born.

He spent his active years in farming, carpentry and cannery work. In retirement, he enjoyed the fellowship of their close knit family and the many friends who came to visit. He was a loving husband, a concerned father for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bro. Huebert was baptized upon his confession of faith on June 27, 1915 at the Henderson M. B. Church. In 1936 the family moved to Reedley, Calif. and worshiped there until 1955 when they moved to Fresno where he was a member at the time of his homegoing.

He leaves to mourn his wife; three daughters, Mrs. John (Lydia) Goertzen of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Erwin (Freda) Buller of Campbell, Calif., and Mrs. Melvin (Neva) Hanke, Fresno; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
