• Funeral services for Jacob D. Siemens, 82, retired farmer of Buhler, were held June 2 at the Buhler Mennonite Church, with Dr. D. C. Wedel officiating. Mr. Siemens died May 30 at Bethel Hospital here after a long illness. He leaves his widow, the former Susie Franz; a son, Harold, of Medora; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Schroeder of Sun City, Ariz. and Mrs. Clarence Goertzen of Visalia, Calif.; a brother, David, of Hemet, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Franklin Comstock of Buhler; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
