TINA JANZ

Tina Janz died June 20. She was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Aliessovo, Orenburg, Russia to Ja- cob and Katharina Dueck. The family im- migrated to Coaldale, Alta. in 1926. She worked on the farm to help the family sur- -~~-~-~ vive. She accepted hrist at a young age, was baptized and lined Coaldale MB Church. Her faith sus- lined her through hardships. She attended

oaldale Bible School. She married Jacob

InZ in 1942. They farmed in the Coaldale rea. In 1955 Jake lost a leg in a farm acci- lent. Tina held the family together during his stressful time. Jake died in 1999. She ~as compassionate and involved in MCC, aising funds for missions and local needs, uch as Meals on Wheels. She loved garden- ng, particularly with roses. Music and inging as a family were highlights. She lrayed for her children. She often told of a lymn or Scripture that comforted her at light. She is mourned by daughters Agnes v1oore, St. Albert, Alta., Esther Berg, Coal- iale, Marion Quiring, Calgary, Charlotte ~uapp, Sherwood Park, Alta; Gwen Allison,
