MRS. CLARA RISSER

Mrs. Clara Risser, 85, of Metamora, Ill., formerly of Danvers, Ill., died June 14 at the Methodist Hospital, Peoria, Ill. She was ill ten days.

Services were held June 16 in North Danvers Mennonite Church of which she was a member. Rev. George Dick officiated. Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers.

She was born at Carlock, Ill. on June 16, 1884, to Christian and Catherine Yordy Kennel, and was married Jan. 9, 1906 to Frank Risser, who died in July 1956.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Risser of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Robert Risser of Stanford; a daughter, Mrs. James (Betty) Esh, with whom she lived for two and one-half years, of Metamora; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lina Larson of Meadows, a son, Lowell preceded her in death in March of this year. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, one half-brother and two half sisters.

Mrs. Risser was a charter member of McLean County Home Bureau and a member of the auxiliaries of the church and the Mennonite Hospital.
