Death Claims Retired Berne Businessman

Berne, Ind. — Largely attended funeral services for Palmer Moser, 70, former president and general manager of Moser Motor Sales, Inc. and former deacon at the First Mennonite Church here, were held at the First Church on Sunday afternoon, Apr. 9, with Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander, the pastor, in charge.

A lifelong resident of Berne, he had become ill recently on the return trip from Florida where he and his wife had spent part of the winter. He was admitted to the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where he died on Apr. 6. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Survivors include his widow, the former Viola Sprunger; a son, Millard Moser of Berne; two daughters, Mrs. John (Mary) Eicher of Berne and Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Baum of Clinton, Ill.; two step-sons, Kenyon Sprunger of Berne and Benjamin Sprunger of Washington, D. C.; ten grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
