ANDREW TOEWS

Andrew Toews died May 8. He began teaching at age 17, teaching for 47 years, the last 25 in Terrace, B.C. He was interested in Canadian and Mennonite history, woodworking, gardening and music. He was active in the MB Church, helping to establish the church in Terrace. He was part of the Gideon Society. He was married to Neta Klassen who died in 1996. His family was his primary concern. Predeceased by Neta, daughter Jeannie Voth in 2002, 4 sisters, he is mourned by sons Peter and David; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters. The funeral was in Central Heights Church, Abbotsford.
