CORNELIUD (CORK) REMPEL

Cornelius (Cork) Rem- pel died Feb. 24. He was born May 19, 1935 in Osborne, Man to John and Su- sanna Rempel. They moved to Chilliwack, B.C He logged, then attended vocational school in Nanaimo, becoming an automo- tive electrician for Delisle Auto Electric. He married Caroline Voth May 6, 1961 . He worked at Chilliwack Ready-Mix, Finning Tractor, Lineham Logging, Cheam Con- tracting and Hope Ready -Mix. He was known for his integrity, honesty and consci- entiousness. He enjoyed creating and recy- cling, restoring motorcycles, lawn mowers, sawmills and making gifts for his grandchil- dren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 grand- son, he is mourned by Carol; sons Ramone and Todd; 4 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 1 sister.
