Mrs. Paul Loewen of Inola passed away on Sept. 26. She had been living at the Chouteau rest home for several months, but was taken to a Wagoner hospital after suffering a stroke on Sept. 12. A short time before she died, she told a nurse that she was going home. How wonderful to look on life's greatest adventure with the joy of going home rather than the fear of the godless. She leaves to mourn her passing five daughters and one son: Mrs. Alice Froese of Inola; Bertha, Mrs. Pete Kroeker of Chouteau; Ruby, Mrs. Enos Stutsman [sic Stutzman] of Inola; Elisabeth [sic Elizabeth], Mrs. Waverly Cup of Norman; Wanda, Mrs. Jack Spurlock of Claremore, and Paul Loewen of Ault. In addition numerous grandchildren survive. — Mrs. Carrol Statum.
