ANITA MAGDALENE BORN

Anita Magdalene Born died June 6. She was born Sept. 13, 1946 in Freising, Germany to Anton and Helene Lind. The family emigrated to Canada in 1949, settling in Yarrow, B.C., then in Vancouver. She accepted Christ as a teenager and was baptized in 1966. She married Theodore Peter Rahn in 1967. Peter died in November 1979. She married Alvin Born in 1982, adopting his 2 children. She was outgoing, with a contagious smile. She had a strong faith and worshipped God through music. She was supportive of her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She loved denim. Predeceased by Theodore, she is mourned by Alvin, children Paul Born, Tony Rahnborn, Carla Goertzen and Angela Froese; 7 grandchildren; father; 1 brother; 1 sister. The funeral was June 9 in Chilliwack (B.C) Alliance Church.
