MARTHA SCHULZ
Martha Sc hulz died Nov. 25 in Abbotsford. She was born Aug. 14, 1913 near Herbert, ~lrifi"~" Sask. to Jaco b and He- lena Thiesse n. She ac- cepted Christ and was baptized and joined Greenfarm ( Sask.) MB Church. She left school to ca re for her parents. She completed high school in Steinbach, Man., then became an LPN. She helped her sister Anna manage the Mary Martha Home in Winnipeg. In 1956 she married Diedrich Schulz, a widow er with 7 children, who was formerly married to her sister Sarah . Diedrich died in 1976. She served joyfully in Herbert MB Church in Bible studies, women's groups and hospital- ity ministries. She was committed to prayer, missions and outreach. She moved to Ab- botsford, B.C. in 1993, joining Seven Oaks Alliance Church. She moved to Ta bor Home in 1999 and to Menno Hospital in 2002. Her spirit inspired everyone, Predec eased by Diedrich and stepson Ed, she is mourned by son Doug; stepchildren Irvin, Esth er, Lillian, Olga, Myrt le and Dorothy; 23 grandchil- dren; 40 great-grandchildren; 10 great- great-grandchildren. T he funeral was Nov. 28 in Seven Oaks Alliance Church. Henry David Loewen Henry David Loewen died Dec. 16 in Sault Ste . Marie, Ont. at age 82. Predeceased by his wife Mimi, he is mourned by sons Thomas of Calgary, Victor of Ottawa, David of Toronto; daughters Pauline Henson of Sault Ste. Marie, Ruth M acinnes of Orangeville, Beth Schloo of Edmonton and Julia Schloo of Shelburne, Ont .; 1 7 grand- children; 2 great-grandchildren; 7 sisters; 2 brothers. The funeral service was Dec. 20 in Northwood Funeral Home, Sault Ste. Marie.
