JACOB J. REDEKOP

Jacob J. Redekop died June 8. He was born July 18, 1925 to Frank and Katherine Redekop. He grew up in Main Centre, Sask. and attended Herbert (Sask.) Bible School. He married Agnes Nickel June 1, 1950. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He served God in practical ways and was involved in the community. He was a member of Main Centre MB Church, teaching Sunday school and working the sound system. He was a board member of West Bank Bible Camp and helped with MCC Relief sales . They enjoyed travelling, particularly to the West Coast. He suffered a heart attack in 1985 but continued farming. He took up fishing. Agnes died in 1995. He was a man of integrity and grace, had a positive attitude and a sense of humour. Predeceased by Agnes, he is mourned by son Daniel; daughters Betty Plett and Lori Andres; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. The funeral was June 13 in Herbert MB Church.
