ELIZABETH SIEMENS

Elizabeth Siemens died May 31. She was born Aug. 29, 1914 to Peter and Katherine Kornelson in Oren- burg, Russia. The fami- ly immigrated to Cana- da in 1926. She ac- cepted the Lord in her youth and was bap- tized July 25, 1939, joining a church in Coaldale, Alta. She at- tended Bible school in Coaldale. She married David Siemens Nov. 15, 1947. They settled in Matsqui, B.C. She worked hard on their dairy farm . She sewed for her family, and en- joyed vegetable gardening, canning, and tending her flowerbeds. She was known for her cooking and for keeping a neat and tidy home. She was a generous, loving, caring and praying person. They travelled to Europe and spent vacations in Hawaii, Yuma, Ariz. and at the lake. Predeceased by 1 brother, she is mourned by David; daughter Sandra Krause; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchil- dren; 3 brothers; 1 sister. The funeral was June 5 in South Abbotsford MB Church.
