HELEN MCPHERSON

Hellen McPherson died July 21. She was born May 22, 1911 to Alexander and Mary McPherson at Marquette, Man. She spent most of her life in the Oakville, Man. area. She learned farm practices from her father, handling a team of horses at a young age. She worked in Winnipeg, then returned to operate the family farm with her mother. They later moved into town. She was cheerful and had a quick wit. She enjoyed being tricked into making sandwiches for her surprise 80th birthday. Her church home for the last years was Community Fellowship Church in Newton, Man. She looked forward to heaven. Predeceased by 4 sisters, she leaves 1 sister. The funeral was July 28 in Community Fellowship Church.
