GERTRUDE WOELK

Gertrude Woelk died July 27. She was born to Fredrick and Helen Mielke Apr. 3, 1912 in South Russia. She was baptized in 1930 in Beechy (Sask.) Men- nonite Church. She married David Woelk Oct. 13, 1930. They farmed. She worked hard. She taught Sunday school, and was ac- tive in the Ladies Group and Hospital Auxil- iary. They moved to Saskatoon in 1975. David died in 1984. She kept busy reading, and doing handwork and puzzles . She en- joyed Bible studies and other activities. Pre- deceased by David, son Harry, 1 sister, she leaves daughters Helen Aiken, Gertrude Sholter; son David; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
